RETURNS

You have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days from the day you receive your order, without giving a reason.

To request a return, please contact us at info@afvandevorst.com within this 14-day period. We will provide you with the necessary return instructions.

Once you have notified us of your return, the item must be returned promptly and in accordance with the instructions provided.

RETURN SHIPPING

Complimentary shipping is offered by A.F.VANDEVORST on the original shipment of your order.

The cost and responsibility for returning an item to A.F.VANDEVORST are borne by the customer. We strongly recommend using a reliable and trackable shipping service, as A.F.VANDEVORST cannot accept responsibility for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.

This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of an incorrect, damaged or defective item.

CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

Returned items must be handled with care and returned in their original condition, with all original packaging, labels and accessories included.

Shoes should only be tried on indoors and on a clean, soft surface to prevent marking the soles.

Bags must be returned with their original dust bag and any accompanying packaging.

We reserve the right to reduce the amount refunded where an item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit, resulting in a loss of value.

REFUNDS

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process the refund using the original method of payment.

Refunds will be made in accordance with the applicable statutory time limits. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Any customs duties, import charges or local taxes paid by the customer are not collected by A.F.VANDEVORST and cannot be refunded by us. Where applicable, customers should contact their local customs authority regarding possible reimbursement of such charges.

EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange an item, for example for a different size, please contact us at info@afvandevorst.combefore returning your purchase.

We will be happy to assist you personally and confirm availability of the requested size or item.

Return shipping to A.F.VANDEVORST remains at the customer’s expense.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Every A.F.VANDEVORST piece is carefully checked before shipment.

If you believe that you have received an incorrect, damaged or defective item, please contact us at info@afvandevorst.com as soon as possible and include your order details and photographs where relevant.

Where an item is confirmed to be defective or incorrect, A.F.VANDEVORST will arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with your statutory consumer rights. The customer will not be required to bear the necessary return shipping costs in such cases.

NATURAL MATERIALS

Leather is a natural material. Subtle variations in grain, texture and colour may occur and are part of its individual character. These natural characteristics, as well as minor variations resulting from artisanal production processes, should not in themselves be considered defects.

STATUTORY GUARANTEE

Nothing in this Return Policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

Consumers in the European Union benefit from the applicable legal guarantee for lack of conformity. For new goods, this legal guarantee applies for two years from delivery.
